Risk Factors for Early Mortality in Hemato-Oncological Patients with Carbapenem Resistant Acinetobacter Baumannii (CRAB) Bacteremia
Conclusions - Bacteremia with CRAB is often fulminant and fatal, particularly among hemato-oncological patients. Early implementation of appropriate antibiotics might improve outcome. Due to the severity of the infection and the high mortality rate, prevention of this catastrophic complication in hemato-oncological patients is crucial.DisclosuresNo relevant conflicts of interest to declare.
