Volume expansion mitigates Shiga toxin-producing E. coli-hemolytic uremic syndrome in children

ConclusionsThis study suggests that volume expansion may be associated with the mitigation of the acute course of STEC-HUS, especially severe neurological involvement and the development of CKD.
