Association of plant-based diets with total and cause-specific mortality across socioeconomic deprivation level: a large prospective cohort
ConclusionsThis study showed that having a high overall PDI and hPDI were related to a reduced risk of death, while the uPDI was linked to a higher risk of death. Sticking to a healthy plant-based diet may help decrease mortality risks across socioeconomic deprivation levels, especially for those who are the most socioeconomically deprived.
