The value of invisible electrocardiography
Two or three decades ago, many considered the standard 12-lead electrocardiograms (ECGs) similarly as theoretical physics was seen at the end of 19th century: of some practical use but dull since everything was known making noticeable advances impossible. Speechreading, Phonological Skills, and Word Reading Ability in Children
CONCLUSIONS: The current study provides converging evidence that speechreading and phonological skills are positively related in typically developing children. Open educational resources for otorhinolaryngology : A pilot study on needs assessment and implementation
CONCLUSION: This project yielded the first OER from a German ENT department, tailored to the German medical curriculum. One significant barrier to OER use in medicine, more than in other fields, is data protection. This challenge can be navigated by obtaining consent to publish patient data as OER.
