What is a Pharmacy Residency for Neurology Like? How Do I Make Myself Competitive?
I'm working on going back to Pharmacy school and I know I'm interested in being a Clinical Pharmacist. For those Pharmacists who've completed a residency, how much patient interaction would you say you have? Is the work fulfilling and do you get to learn a good deal about Physiology and/or Anatomy? Are any teleradiology jobs any good?
I’m only an R1 but I get emails every now and then for open positions and have seen quite a few swing shift teleradiology jobs that seem to pay well and offer 1 on 2 off. I guess my question is, what’s the catch? Their salaries seem in line with daytime salaries/slightly less. The future of oncology, impacted by AI?
I'm PGY-3 and matched to mid academic hematology/oncology fellowship and am excited about that. just curious what are your thoughts on AI's impact on the field of oncology. from my naive experience so far, i think AI can generate good or better treatment plan for most types of malignancy. if that is true, i would imagine the demand and salary for oncologists would go down? VA Pay schedule
Hello!
I am considering applying for a GPR at a VA and then working there after. I am confused on their pay schedule.

Some questions about Income reporting/taxes as a Physician Scientist
I recently learned about Defined Benefit Plans and Cash Balance Plans (which are a subset of DBPs) that have a very high ceiling for pre-tax contributions for retirement. It seems that private practice or independent contractor docs are able to create/participate in these plans.
I was wondering if a physician scientist with protected research/academic time could "split" their salary such that their clinical work is paid as a 1099 and their academic work is paid as a regular W2 employee...

Working as an Interventional Pain Physician at a VA hospital?
Some positions have opened up for me at VA hospitals as a pain physician. This would be my first job out of training.
