Implanted endocardial lead characteristics and risk of stroke or transient ischemic attack
Conclusions Most physical characteristics of contemporary leads do not impact rate of stroke/TIA among patients receiving implantable devices. The presence of a PFO is a major risk factor for stroke/TIA in patients with endovascular leads.

003 * early and mid-term outcome of secondary interventions after thoracic endovascular aortic repair
Conclusion: Secondary surgical procedures after TEVAR can be performed with low mortality and morbidity rate, despite severe preoperative conditions of patients. Achieving acceptable outcomes after open surgical correction suggested that many patients with complex aortic pathologies can benefit from conventional surgery during primary intervention.

Endovascular treatment of fusiform intracranial vertebral artery aneurysms using reconstructive techniques
Conclusions The use of reconstructive techniques in the endovascular treatment of unruptured fusiform intracranial vertebral artery aneurysms is feasible, safe, and effective in the mid term. In patients presenting with SAH, however, the safety and effectiveness of these techniques remain unclear.

Endovascular treatment of intracranial aneurysms with detachable coils: correlation between aneurysm volume, packing, and angiographic recurrence
Conclusions Coiling large volume (>600 mm3) intracranial aneurysms are more likely to have a recurrence than small ones. High packing (≥20%) provides better protection against recurrence of the aneurysm.

Timing and nature of in-house postoperative events following uncomplicated elective endovascular aneurysm treatment.
Conclusions The large majority of significant postprocedural events after uncomplicated endovascular aneurysm intervention occur within the first 4 hours; these events become less frequent with increasing time. Transfer to a floor bed after 4-12 hours for further observation is reasonable to consider in some patients. PMID: 25170666 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

Flow Diversion Versus Conventional Treatment for Carotid Cavernous Aneurysms Clinical Sciences
Conclusions— The use of PED should be encouraged, especially in symptomatic patients. We found PED to be associated with less need for future treatment, higher improvement in symptoms rate, and lower rate of complications.

Early results of the Axium MicroFX for Endovascular Repair of IntraCranial Aneurysm (AMERICA) study: a multicenter prospective observational registry
Conclusions This prospective study of Axium MicroFX coils demonstrates excellent aneurysm occlusion rates. 52% of aneurysms were completely occluded post-procedure. Within the ruptured aneurysm group, post-procedure occlusion rates were 63.6%. Major AE rates were consistent with historical data.

E-006 Familial Incidence of the Congenital Torcular Dural Arteriovenous Shunt
Purpose There are several hereditary disorders that are well known to be associated with arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) involving the central nervous system including Sturge-Weber, Klippel-Trenaunay-Weber, and Parkes-Weber syndromes as well as hereditary haemorrhagic telangiectasia and hereditary neurocutaneous angiomatosis. Furthermore, familial incidence of AVMs in the absence of congenital hereditary disorders also has been reported. Herein, we describe the occurrence of the giant torcular herophili (TH) dural arteriovenous fistula (AVF) in two pediatric cousins treated with endovascular embolization. Case report C...

E-007 Unusual Two Cases of Dissecting Cervical Internal Carotid Artery Pseudo-aneurysm with Symptomatic Intracranial Aneurysm
Conclusions In the evaluation of suspected intracranial aneurysm who present with headache with neck pain, a catheter cerebral angiogram not only will clearly define the correct morphology of intracranial aneurysm but also will appropriately identify the presence of life threatening cervical ICA abnormalities. Additionally, presence of an unusual cervical ICA anatomy with DP may warrant further evaluation of intracranial blood vessel of same territory. Using endovascular strategies, both extracranial and intracranial DP could be treated. However, long-term follow-up and outcome is unknown. Further studies are required. Di...

E-009 Dissecting Ruptured and Symptomatic Intracranial Pseudo-aneurysm who Underwent Endovascular Repair-A Case Series
Conclusions Our series demonstrates that dissecting intracranial aneurysm is predominantly present in the Petro-Cavernous junction of the ICA. Most of them could be treated successfully with good clinical outcome using stent-assisted coiling, stent-remodeling or primary coiling. However, the recurrence rate is extremely common; therefore close early follow-up is necessary for all cases especially those located in Petro-cavernous junction of the ICA. Further long-term follow-up study is required. Disclosures Y. Lodi: None. V. Reddy: None. A. Devasenapathy: None. J. Chou: None. K. Shehades: None. K. Sethi: None. D. Galyon: ...

E-056 Pipeline Endovascular Device for the Treatment of Intracranial Aneurysm at the Level of the Circle of Willis and Beyond: Multicenter Experience
Conclusion The PED provides a safe and effective solution for aneurysms at and beyond the circle of Willis. Preliminary results are promising but larger series with longer-term follow-up examinations are required to show the long-term safety and durability of this treatment alternative. Disclosures M. E-064 Safety and Efficacy of Balloon-Assisted Coiling of Intracranial Aneurysms: A Single-Center Study
Conclusions In our single-center study, balloon-assisted coiling was not associated with serious complications. Minimal intra-operative thrombi which were formed resolved with almost no adverse events in patient. Further studies will need to be performed on long term outcomes of these patients, however, balloon-assisted coiling has emerged as an important adjunct in the endovascular treatment of aneurysms. O-018 Magnetically Assisted Remote-controlled Endovascular Catheter for Interventional MRI: In Vitro Navigation at 1.5 T versus X-ray Fluoroscopy
Conclusion In this study, a MARC catheter for endovascular navigation under real-time MRI guidance was developed and tested. For catheterization of branch vessels arising at large angles, magnetically assisted catheterization was faster than manual catheterization under MR imaging guidance and was comparable to standard x-ray guidance. This represents a significant advance in MRI guided catheterization and brings the performance of MRI guided stroke interventions closer to clinical reality. Disclosures S. P-011 Early experience with TransForm™ Occlusion Balloon Catheter (OBC): A Single-Center Study
Conclusions In our single-center study, balloon remodeled coil embolization of aneurysm using TOBC was not associated with any serious complications. The balloon was trackable to intended site and the preparation time was relatively short. We believe that TOBC has good utility in treating broad-necked aneurysms and small aneurysms that are otherwise suboptimally managed by conventional deployment. Disclosures S. Quadri: None. V.
