Relationship between low response to clopidogrel and periprocedural ischemic events with coil embolization for intracranial aneurysms
Conclusions Low response to clopidogrel had little effect on clinical outcome although it increased asymptomatic large ischemic lesions in this cohort.

Flow diverter assisted coil embolization of a very small ruptured ophthalmic artery aneurysm
We report a case in which a patient presented with subarachnoid hemorrhage and a very small ruptured ophthalmic artery aneurysm, for which endovascular therapy was preferred secondary to severe cardiac comorbidities. Due to the aneurysm size, a small 1.5 mm coil was needed, but presented a significant risk of migration. Analysis of endovascular treatment of ruptured microaneurysms compared with ruptured larger aneurysms
Conclusions Coiling of cerebral microaneurysms has a reasonable safety profile with good clinical outcomes, similar to coiling of larger aneurysms. In our experience, the systematic use of remodeling balloons, operator experience, and the ability to manage complications are the reasons for the satisfactory results.

Endovascular parent artery occlusion of proximal posterior cerebral artery aneurysms: a report of two cases
We report two cases of proximal posterior cerebral artery (PCA) aneurysms treated with endovascular parent artery occlusion (PAO) with coils. In both cases, selective injection from the 4 F distal access catheter clearly showed the perforating arteries arising from the PCA. Case No 1, a 49-year-old woman, was successfully treated with preservation of a paramedian artery. Case No 2, a 54-year-old woman, was treated in the same manner. Towards a new treatment paradigm for ruptured blood blister-like aneurysms of the internal carotid artery? A rapid systematic review
Conclusions None of the methods is unequivocally superior. Considering its inefficiency, stent-assisted coiling should be undertaken with caution. A time-delimited systematic review is needed to establish the most accurate treatment for ruptured BBAs.

Onyx embolization in distal dissecting posterior inferior cerebellar artery aneurysms
Conclusions Angiographic, diagnostic imaging, and clinical results of our small series indicate that Onyx embolization of dissecting distal PICA aneurysms with parent artery preservation is an effective option with acceptable morbidity and mortality rate, in those cases in which surgical clipping or endovascular coiling of the aneurysmal sac is not suitable.

Evaluation of time to aneurysm treatment following subarachnoid hemorrhage: comparison of patients treated with clipping versus coiling
Conclusions Older patients with SAH and those treated at non-teaching hospitals were more likely to have delays to aneurysm clipping procedures. These associations were unique to open surgery as age and hospital teaching status did not affect time to coiling procedures.

Endovascular Internal Trapping of Ruptured Occipital Artery Pseudoaneurysm Associated with Occipital–Internal Jugular Vein Fistula in Neurofibromatosis Type 1
We report a case of ruptured occipital artery (OA) pseudoaneurysm associated with occipital–internal jugular vein (IJV) fistula in neurofibromatosis type 1. Endovascular internal trapping via the OA was attempted; however, the distal entry of the OA could not be accessed because of the high shunt flow and tortuosity of the OA. The distal part of the OA was obliterated with coil via a transvenous approach through the IJV and pseudoaneurysm.

Clipping of previously coiled cerebral aneurysms: efficacy, safety, and predictors in a cohort of 111 patients.
CONCLUSIONS Surgical clipping is safe and effective in treating recurrent, previously coiled cerebral aneurysms. Increased Resting Energy Expenditure after Endovascular Coiling for Subarachnoid Hemorrhage
Appropriate nutritional care from the acute stage is essential for improved functional outcomes and reduced mortality in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH). Although endovascular coiling is increasingly being used as an alternative to neurosurgical clipping and craniotomy for ruptured aneurysms, the resting energy expenditure (REE) of patients treated with this new technique has not been systemically evaluated.
