Development of a comprehensive health-risk prediction tool for postmenopausal women
Conclusion: This study represents the first large-scale study to develop a risk prediction calculator that yields health risk prediction for several outcomes simultaneously. Concentrations and mortality due to short- and long-term exposure to PM2.5 in a megacity of Iran (2014-2019).
Abstract The present study aimed to survey the spatial and temporal trends of ambient concentration of PM2.5 and to estimate mortality attributed to short- and long-term exposure to PM2.5 in Isfahan from March 2014 to March 2019 using the AirQ+ software. Impact of previous percutaneous coronary intervention on cardiovascular outcomes and mortality after lung cancer surgery: A nationwide study in Korea
ConclusionsPatients who underwent PCI before surgery for lung cancer were at a higher risk of death than those in the non ‐PCI group at one year after surgery. In addition, they showed higher short‐ and long‐term risks of revascularization than patients in the non‐PCI group. Careful long‐term management of cardiovascular risk is necessary for this population.

The Economic Burden of Smoking ‑Attribution and Years of Life Lost due to Chronic Diseases in Mashhad, 2015–2016
Conclusions: The results of this study can be used to inform policy ‑makers about smoking‑attributable diseases in Iran. To decrease the smoking‑attributable costs, which have resulted in the spread of NCDs, policy‑makers should adopt and implement effective policies regarding smoking prevention and control.

Effects of Smoking on Long-Term Clinical Outcomes and Lung Cancer in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction
CONCLUSIONS: In contrast to the unadjusted model, smoking is associated with worse cardiovascular outcome and higher incidence of lung cancer after adjustment of various confounding factors.
