Efficacy of ablation therapy on clinical outcomes in patients with atrial fibrillation: a systematic review and meta-analysis

Efficacy and safety of direct oral anticoagulants vs vitamin K antagonists in patients with atrial fibrillation and end-stage renal disease on hemodialysis: A systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Among AF patients with ESRD on chronic hemodialysis, the risk of ischemic stroke, ischemic stroke or systemic embolism, minor bleeding, major bleeding, and all-cause mortality is similar in patients treated with DOACs compared to VKAs. 86-Year-Old Woman With Fever, New-Onset Dysarthria, and Ataxia
An 86-year-old woman with a medical history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, permanent atrial fibrillation receiving anticoagulation, and chronic venous stasis causing recurrent leg cellulitis presented to the emergency department for new-onset dysarthria and imbalance, which began earlier that morning. She denied a history of stroke, chills, unintentional weight loss, diarrhea, dysuria, frequency, or recent head trauma. The patient endorsed taking her anticoagulation as prescribed without skipped doses.

Risk for Bleeding-Related Hospitalizations During Use of Amiodarone With Apixaban or Rivaroxaban in Patients With Atrial Fibrillation : A Retrospective Cohort Study
