Association between platelet counts and morbidity and mortality after endovascular repair for type B aortic dissection.
This study aimed to assess the association of postoperative platelet counts with early and late outcomes after thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for type B aortic dissection (TBAD). We retrospectively evaluated 892 patients with TBAD who underwent TEVAR from a prospectively maintained database. Insights on the Potential Mechanisms of Action of Functional Electrical Stimulation Therapy in Combination With Task ‐Specific Training: A Scoping Review
ConclusionsThe results of this scoping review suggest that FEST  + TST can result in multiple effects on different elements of the neuromuscular system, while most research studies were focused on the muscle changes after FEST + TST. Despite the efficacy of the FEST + TST in the neurorehabilitation after CNS injury or disease, the results of this rev iew underline an important knowledge gap with regards to the actual mechanism of action of FEST + TST.

Hypothermic circulatory arrest time affects neurological outcomes of frozen elephant trunk for acute type A aortic dissection: A systematic review and meta ‐analysis
ConclusionsIt seems that employing the FET procedure for acute type A dissection is associated with acceptable neurologic outcomes and a similar mortality rate comparing with other aorta pathologies. Besides, increasing hypothermic circulation arrest time appears to be a significant predictor of adverse neurologic outcomes after FET.

The impact of upper limb spasticity-correcting surgery on the everyday life of patients with disabling spasticity: a qualitative analysis
CONCLUSIONS: The participants experienced improvements in their everyday lives, including body functions, activities, social life, and psychological well-being. Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation for the Management of Neuropathic Pain: A Narrative Review
CONCLUSION: The results of the included studies suggest that tDCS may be beneficial in treating patients with NP due to stroke, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, and trigeminal neuralgia. Efficacy of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation for improving lower limb function in individuals with neurological disorders: A systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized sham-controlled trials
CONCLUSION: Supplementary repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation may promote rehabilitation focused on ambulation and muscle strength and overall lower-limb functional recovery in individuals with stroke, Parkinson's disease and spinal cord injury.
