Antiplatelet therapy combined with acenocoumarol in relation to major bleeding, ischaemic stroke and mortality
ConclusionsIn AF patients, the risk of bleeding is higher when antiplatelet therapy is combined with acenocoumarol, but the risk of mortality and stroke was not significantly different from that of patients taking only acenocoumarol.

ConclusionsStandard and reduced dose NOACs, respectively, showed no significant risk difference for associated stroke/thromboembolism. Rivaroxaban was associated with higher bleeding risk compared with dabigatran and apixaban and dabigatran was associated with lower intracranial bleeding risk compared with rivaroxaban and apixaban.

The safety and efficacy of oral anticoagulants with dual versus single antiplatelet therapy in patients after percutaneous coronary intervention: A meta-analysis
Conclusion: In patients on OAC undergoing PCI with stent implantation, compared with DT, TT shows equal effectiveness in terms of MACE, stroke, all-cause mortality, and stent thrombosis and lower risks of myocardial infarction and major bleeding. However, similar efficacy and safety outcomes were observed between the TT group and the OAC along with clopidogrel group.

Predictive role of CHADS2 and CHA2DS2-VASc scores on stroke and thromboembolism in patients without atrial fibrillation: a meta-analysis.
CONCLUSIONS: Though having good diagnostic accuracy, the clinical application of the CHADS2 and CHA2DS2-VASc scores in predicting risk of stroke development in non-AF patients still needs further validation. Adverse cardiovascular events associated with biodegradable polymer drug-eluting stents and durable polymer everolimus-eluting stents: A systematic review and meta-analysis of 10 randomized controlled trials
