Authors: Clark JH Abstract The Women's Health Initiative Studies (WHI) were designed to examine the effects of estrogen and progestin (E+P; Prempro) and estrogen alone (Premarin) in post-menopausal women. Self-Reported Eczema in Relation with Mortality from Cardiovascular Disease in Japanese: the Japan Collaborative Cohort Study.
CONCLUSIONS: Self-reported frequent eczema was associated with increased risk of mortality from CHD, but not other major CVD, in a Japanese general population. Direct oral anticoagulants versus vitamin K antagonists in patients with atrial fibrillation and cancer a meta-analysis
ConclusionsIn comparison to VKA, DOACs were associated with a significant reduction of the rates of thromboembolic events and major bleeding complications in patients with AF and cancer. Further studies are needed to confirm our results.

Transfusion thresholds for guiding red blood cell transfusion
CONCLUSIONS: Transfusion at a restrictive haemoglobin concentration decreased the proportion of people exposed to RBC transfusion by 41% across a broad range of clinical contexts.
