Enteritis cystica profunda
We reported the case of a 45-year-old female, suffering from a Crohn's disease, with a Koenig's syndrome, diarrhea, abdominal pain and weight loss. The colonoscopy and the abdominopelvic scan showed a terminal ileal stenosis, with parietal calcifications. A surgical ileocecal resection was decided. Gross examination of the ileocecal resection showed a thickening of the ileal wall, with many mucin-filled cysts measuring 1mm to 2cm, with some calcifications. The ileal mucosa was ulcerated, and showed a stenotic sector extending over 3cm. Histological examination showed acute ulcerated ileitis lesions, with chronic ileitis le...

Long ‐term consequences of juvenile vulvar lichen sclerosus: A cohort study of adults with a histologically confirmed diagnosis in childhood or adolescence
ConclusionsSymptoms due to VLS are reported by most adults diagnosed as juveniles. QoL and sexuality are affected and correlate to recent symptoms. VLS as a juvenile does not preclude a vaginal delivery. Women diagnosed with VLS in childhood or adolescence are often lost to follow-up.

Ectopic prostate in the sigmoid colon
A 33-year-old man presented with intermittent abdominal pain for two weeks. Colonoscopy showed a pedunculated, lobulated neoplasm measuring approximately 5.0  cm in the sigmoid colon, about 20 cm from the anus verge (Fig. 1A). Biopsy histology was inconclusive. Abdominal contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) scan demonstrated a 4.6 × 3.2 cm nodular lesion in the sigmoid colon, with mild enhancement (Fig. 1B, C, and D). Considering the pedun culated nature of this lesion, an endoscopic mucosal resection was performed to excise it (Fig. 2A).
