This report details the first known case of co-occurrence of gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST), pancreatic adenocarcinoma, and gastric adenocarcinoma in an individual with no identifiable genetic abnormalities. The patient is a 57-year-old female who presented with abdominal pain. CT scan demonstrated a pancreatic mass, and endoscopic ultrasound demonstrated an additional gastric mass. Biopsy of both masses demonstrated adenocarcinoma; however, the masses were found to have different origins. The patient underwent neoadjuvant chemotherapy with excellent response. She then underwent surgical intervention, which demonstr...

Pain, gastrointestinal function and fertility outcomes of modified nerve ‐vessel sparing segmental and full thickness discoid resection for deep colorectal endometriosis – A prospective cohort study
ConclusionsNVSSR and FTDR for symptomatic colorectal DE confer a significant amelioration of GI function reflected by decreased LARS symptoms and increased GIQLI scores with no differences in postsurgical function in between the two techniques. Over the next few posts I want to give some examples of how non-psychologists can use ACT in session (remember ACT is open for anyone to use it!). Willingess (Acceptance) – Choosing to experience it all Do you remember the poignancy of a beloved ...

Perspective: Transthoracic, posterolateral, or transpedicular approaches to thoracic disks, not laminectomy
CONCLUSION: Anterior/anterolateral TDH are largely addressed with transthoracic or posterolateral procedures (i.e. costotransversectomy/extracavitary), with a subset also utilizing transfacet/transpedicular approaches typically adopted for lateral TDH. Laminectomy is essentially no longer considered a viable option for treating TDH.PMID:37680932 | PMC:PMC10481820 | DOI:10.25259/SNI_648_2023
