3rd Withdrawal Grade From Organic Chemistry 2
I'll have to retake it a fourth time. I'm feeling hopeless right now. Any MD success stories of people who withdrew from the same science class multiple times? I'm really hating my life right now. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Organic Chem Class, Genetics, Bio statistics, and Sociology in One semester (15 credits)... Will this be Hard?
This semester I have to take Organic Chem with the lab, Bio statistics I, Genetics, and Sociology for 15 credits. I've already taken all of my easier courses so now all I'm left with are harder science courses. Do you guys think this will be manageable? And then next semester I would have to take Animal Phys, biochemistry, Intro to Methods in Biotechnology, Physics with lab and philosophy of science (also 15 credits). Should I move anything around or should this schedule be fine. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Can I apply this cycle?
Hello, non-traditional student here wondering if I can apply this cycle or if I need another gap to beef up my resume. My story: 3.3uGPA, had no passion while an undergrad until I decided to pursue medicine as a 5th year senior. Across 3 semesters I have gotten a 4.0 in my bio and physics series and a 4.0 in organic 2, bringing my cGPA to 3.39. During this time I have gotten a few thousand hours as a scribe and almost 200 hours volunteering in a free clinic. I have no research experience... Can I apply this cycle? What should I take next year...
So I’m going to be a freshmen in undergrad next year, and I’m picking my classes. I know that I may have to do online next semester, so that would change what I can take. Anyways, I have enough credits towards my bio major to have chem 1&2 done, and bio1 done. So I’ll for sure take bio 2 next fall, and statistics in the spring, but as far as chem classes, my next set is organic chem 1 with lab and organic chem 2 with lab. I was thinking of doing those both next year, 1 in fall and 2 in... What should I take next year... (Source: Student Doctor Network)

WAMC - Non-traditional applicant: 2020-2021 cycle
cGPA: 3.73 I'm not sure exactly how it will all calculate since I transferred and took some CC classes during high school/summer, plus a few online classes during break/after graduating, but I did a quick estimate and it seems to shake out to 3.73-3.74. sGPA: 3.6? This is strictly chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, physics, math, statistics, biochem, and cell & molecular bio -- not sure if I should include things like genetics, metabolic nutrition, kinesiology... Orgo grade
I took Organic Chemistry I my first semester of freshman year (not the best decision) and got a B. I know this is not ideal. However, I am on track to get at least an A- in Orgo II. Will top med schools likely be a little more forgiving of that grade given it was my first semester of college (especially if I show an overall upward trend the next 3 years)? Making a Final Decision on Whether to Designate Organic Chemistry Laboratory as Pass/Fail or Letter Grade - Need Advice
Hello everyone. My school has given students the option to designate classes as Pass/Fail instead of receiving a letter grade. I am currently only taking one class - Organic Chemistry Laboratory (my last prerequisite course). Please let me know under which circumstances, if any, it would be appropriate for me to designate Organic Chemistry Laboratory as Pass/Fail. I had a 91.2 average with 31% of the grade in before we switched to online classes. I have not received back any grades for... chance me / post-reinvention: 2.7 GPA with 23 DAT score
Hello. I am currently seeking advice, opinions, and/or suggestions. I am currently a 22 year old senior trying to decide my next step in my dentistry journey. My first three years of university were a bit shaky. My grades didn't really have a trend; very up and down. However, I was a bit success in biology related courses (Bs in lectures, As in labs). D in gen chem 1, retook it the following semester and got a C-. C+ in gen chem 1. Struggled horribly with organic chemistry 1 (D-, F, C). F in... chance me / post-reinvention: 2.7 GPA with 23 DAT score (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Post-Bacc Courseload?
I plan to take a DIY post-bacc and I am only missing the prerequisites for medical school. I am wondering what my course load should be? I am planning to take biology, general chem, physics, organic chem, and english. Obviously, general chem is a prequisite for organic chem so I cannot take those in the same semester. Therefore, I will not have a full course load of 5 courses per semester and I am wondering if I should take other courses just for the sake of a full course load or keep it the... Delirium work-up and management
Hey guys, I would like some input about delirium management and organic mental disorders in general: after you order the inital labs and images, and there is for instance a brain lesion [tumor, stroke, etc], do you call Neurology and sign off the case, or do you work together with them? I say that because I'm someone very interested in organic mental disorders and psychosis in general, but not that interested in the common neurosis (depression, anxiety), so I wonder if Neurology fits the...
