Body composition parameters as predictors of low back pain in rural homemakers of North India
CONCLUSION: Age, type of family, socioeconomic status income was identified as risk factors in this population. Maintaining an adequate BMI is essential for the prevention of LBP.PMID:38605797 | PMC:PMC11006052 | DOI:10.4103/jfmpc.jfmpc_920_23 (Source: Primary Care)

Relationship between onset of trunk muscle activities and pelvic kinematics in individuals with and without chronic low back pain
CONCLUSION: The results suggest that pelvic kinematics during prone hip extension does not predict the delayed trunk muscle onset in patients with CLBP.PMID:38607752 | DOI:10.3233/BMR-240028 (Source: Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation)

Low back pain and kinesiophobia in pregnant women
CONCLUSION: LBP in pregnant women has a higher frequency than in the normal population, regardless of age, gestational week, and gravida. Obesity appears to be a risk factor for LBP and increases disability. Kinesiophobia in pregnant women is significantly associated with obesity and disability. Unless there are contraindications, a physically active pregnancy process and regular exercise should be recommend.PMID:38607751 | DOI:10.3233/BMR-240006 (Source: Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation)

Different montages of transcranial direct current stimulation on postural stability in chronic low back pain patients: A randomized sham-controlled study
CONCLUSION: Based on the results, both a-tDCS and c-tDCS over the DLPFC had positive effects on postural control during cognitive postural tasks in CLBP patients with HPA.PMID:38607747 | DOI:10.3233/BMR-230229 (Source: Journal of Back and Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation)

Work-related musculoskeletal disorders in dockworkers. Systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSIONS: Musculoskeletal disorders seem prevalent among dockworkers, mainly degenerative spinal diseases and low back pain. Studies with greater methodological consistency are still needed to validate these hypotheses and assist in decision-making for implementing preventive and informational policies in maritime port management organizations.
