RFA pain
Odd case yesterday and I'm hoping to get some hive mind input. Did an RFA on a patient and during the ablation around 70 degrees Celsius mark during ramp up the patient had significant axial low back pain. Prior to the burn Took AP,15,30, and lateral imaging and everything looked great. Motor testing negative too. Gave some additional lido 2% and restarted with repeat pain. Sacroilitis
20 yo female just gave birth to first child and developed low back pain. MRI showed some L5/S1 disc space disease but to my surprise XR showed sacroilitis in the joint. Rhem panel negative. Discogenic pain case
26 yo healthy guy, comes in with many years of low back pain, hurt himself when he was 18 lifting something.
