ConclusionNegligence cases and complaints are increasingly a part of healthcare, and the Covid-19 pandemic is likely to have compounded this situation due to reduced capacity, access barriers, deskilling, and lack of hands-on training. There are however many ways to manage and mitigate common errors contributing to cases, and we hope to have been able to highlight these and suggest how they may be avoided in future cases.
