Hi all,
Hate to start a new thread but couldn't find much info on this topic. Anyway, what is the general impression when someone (especially a female) wants to work part-time as a noninvasive cardiologist fresh out of fellowship? I am interested in private practice but am open to semi-private or academic if it means a better lifestyle. Location and lifestyle are more important to me than salary. Stethoscope question
Hi all, not sure if this is the right place for this, but I didn't want to clog the more active forums! Essentially, I think that I have a very narrow ear canal opening, which means that when I use a stethoscope, the earpieces sit right up against the fleshy part of my ear, rather than face into my ear canal. Medical consulting after GMO?
Unfortunately last week I found out I did not match into a competitive specialty. Still considering rebuttal specialties (rads, path, IM, FM, peds) but my heart is with the specialty I applied for. Anesthesia after IM vs GI/cardiology/heme onc fellowship
Current PGY2 IM resident. My goal is to make as much money as possible and retire, I am willing to work harder than a resident to do so for 10 years post training, and I am willing to move to much less desired parts of the USA.
Is Anesthesia a better avenue to do this or is GI?

Need a pick me up; did not match into fellowship
Hi,
I did not match into Hem-Onc this week and I am really sad. Like the name said, I have been very sad for a couple days now and was hoping for a pick me up. I know it is shameless and in the grand scheme of things, it is not the residency Match. But this has been what I worked so hard for the past 2 years or so and it is very heart breaking.
