Looking for input from graduating super fellows (IC and EP)
I have perused through this forum and read through various EP vs IC discussions. I am looking for real world (anonymous) examples of the experience current graduating fellows have had in regards to job searches. What is the current market like for each? The demand, offers, practice type, locations, and the job expectations.

Hi guys! I'm very grateful for how my cycle has turned out and would appreciate any insight/advice! I'm interested in pursuing ortho/cardio/derm but recognize that these interests will likely change. Which departments bring in the most money for academic medical centers?
I'm guessing radiology, cardiology, GI, and all the surgical specialties, but would love to hear all your thoughts.

Concerning trend: Radiology has the slowest compensation growth of any specialty
From 2010 to 2019, only a .6% increase per year, not even keeping up with inflation, and lowest of all specialties.
MGMA paints an even bleaker picture, with a 2010 avg of 515k and a 2021 avg of 505k, with other specialties growing 30-60% over the same time period. Surgical subspecialists and cardiologists have had particularly large increases.

PP hiring in NH
PP hiring employee or partner track physicians.
Provide coverage for level 2 trauma center hospital with OB (no high risk) and smaller hospital in lakes region of NH (very low callback) as well as orthopedic surgery center.
Great relationship with hospital and one of the few remaining groups in the area remaining private.
Low volume cardiac (required if partner but mostly CABGs/straightforward valves), cath lab with some structural heart but TEE cert not needed.
