We Need to Rethink Our Food System to Prevent the Next Pandemic
Once a dangerous new pathogen is out, as we are seeing, it can be difficult if not impossible to prevent it going global. One as contagious as SARS-CoV-2 has the potential to infect the whole of humanity. Eighty per cent of cases may be benign, but with such a large pool of susceptible hosts, the numbers who experience severe illness and die can still be shockingly high. So the only sensible answer to the question, how do we stop this from happening again, is: by doing all we can to prevent such pathogens infecting humans in the first place. Puppies May Be Making People Sick, CDC says
(CNN) — Puppies: cute balls of fur.
But according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, they’re also linked to a multi-state outbreak of an infection that’s resistant to multiple drugs.
An outbreak strain of Campylobacter jejuni has been reported in 13 states and so far 30 people have been infected, the CDC said.
Four have been hospitalized but no deaths have been reported, the center said.

The Association between Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Periodontal Conditions: Is There a Common Bacterial Etiology?
CONCLUSION:A number of studies have showed an association between PD and IBD. Both diseases share genetic and environmental etiological factors. The precise role of intestinal bacteria remains vague.
