H - 62 Current State of the Practice of Clinical Neuropsychology in Bolivia
CONCLUSIONS: Neuropsychology is a relatively new field of work in Bolivia. For this reason, the participants considered that to enhance the quality of this specialty in Bolivia, new graduate programs in neuropsychology must be developed, more standardized tests validated, and more job positions created, especially in public institutions. Additionally, a professional organization that regulates the standards of this field needs to be established.PMID:37807561 | DOI:10.1093/arclin/acad067.380 (Source: Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology)

Divergent Genotype of Hepatitis A Virus in Alpacas, Bolivia, 2019
Emerg Infect Dis. 2023 Oct 5;29(12). doi: 10.3201/eid2912.231123. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTHepatitis A virus (HAV) is a common human pathogen found exclusively in primates. In a molecular and serologic study of 64 alpacas in Bolivia, we detected RNA of distinct HAV in ≈9% of animals and HAV antibodies in ≈64%. Complete-genome analysis suggests a long association of HAV with alpacas.PMID:37796297 | DOI:10.3201/eid2912.231123 (Source: Emerging Infectious Diseases)
