Help with School Choice
Thankful to receive multiple acceptances this cycle. For background, I have always done very well academically in all subjects except anatomy. I am not much of a visual learner and I struggle with the three dimensionality of anatomy. In undergrad I struggled heavily with cadaver lab practicals and am worried this could be an issue for me in med school. I have settled on a top 3 for my school choices and need help deciding with this in mind.

RN to MD transition process [2 year old RN transition to Medschool], please help

I am a 25-year-old Registered Nurse who completed nursing school two years ago. Although I have no premedical background beyond the fundamentals of biology and anatomy for nursing school, I am now interested in pursuing more education (med school). 2018 Grad Do I need to Retake All Prereqs?
As the title said, I graduated from college in 2018. My Prereqs were mostly taken between 2016-2018 with 2-3 in 2013. I did well and had an ~3.8 SGPA. Jail Anatomy
I’m very uninformed about jail work. I decided to tour one (ok, a really big one) where to this day I still don’t understand what psychiatrists roles are akin to in the various units (apart from the inpatient). What is a Pharmacy Residency for Neurology Like? How Do I Make Myself Competitive?

Relating to my classmates as a low-SES student
I've always been (unfortunately) always been the weird fish in the small pond whether in special ed / ESL in elementary school, in the youth shelter or on the ambulance, and I'm sure my being neurodivergent is not helping. Is Sketchy + Anki sufficient to do well in school?
Hey all, USMD M1 here who had a lot of trouble in my first block (biochem + anatomy) and just barely passed my in-house exams. Aphantasia in med school
So I have aphantasia. For those of you who don’t know what that is, I am cognitively unable to imagine imagery. For example, if you tell me to think of what an apple looks like, or picture my moms face, I am unable to.
People with aphantasia typically have a high IQ, however, from my understanding, a lot of anatomy and physiology memorization is imagery based. Do I stand a chance in medical school? I feel like my inability to imagine pictures will put me at a disadvantage. (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Staying motivated during D1?
D1 here, about 2 months in. Feeling that midterm vibe. Is it normal to be somewhat bored/disillusioned during D1 year?
All this didactic coursework just feels droning. Even though we have lab and work on waxing so much, I just am not feeling connected to dentistry. Not a big fan of gross anatomy, it's just like why do we have to know this as a dentist, and so much work for that class.
