In conclusion, CAN has a higher prevalence on patients with newly diagnosed diabetes compared to prediabetic and normoglycemic subjects, while the patients with blood glucose>8.5 mmol/l on the 60th-minute of OGTT have higher prevalence of CAN independently of their glycemic status.
