Mild Hypertensive Retinopathy and Risk of Cardiovascular Disease: The Suita Study

CONCLUSION: Mild hypertensive retinopathy was positively associated with CVD and stroke risk in the urban Japanese population. Especially, generalized arteriolar narrowing and enhanced arteriolar wall reflex were positively associated with CVD risk.
