ConclusionThe principal finding of this study was that fasting and energy restricting diets elicited, overall, significant reductions in SBP and DBP. Subsequent subgroup analyses revealed that intervention duration ≤ 12 weeks and fasting regimens more effectively reduced SBP and DBP.
