ConclusionConsidering the widespread use of acetaminophen and its favourable safety profile compared with other analgesic drugs, it appears urgent to remind prescribers of the maximum daily dose recommendations for acetaminophen for patients with HRFs, especially those with chronic alcoholism and hepatocellular insufficiency.
