Association of cardiovascular risk with inhaled long-acting anti-muscarinic antagonists in COPD patients with impaired renal function

Conclusion: Tiotropium inhalation could increase the risk of adverse cardiovascular events and mortality in COPD patients with CKD. It is important to prescribe tiotropium with greater awareness in COPD patients with preexisting renal disease.
