Highlights from 2015
Your achievements
A massive thank you to everyone who ran, hosted coffee mornings and bake sales, jumped out of planes and trekked across the country and indeed the world to fundraise for us.
More than 1,300 of you took on a challenge or donated your time and fundraising skills in 2015. Together, you raised over £780,000!

Improving care for people with arthritis
In 2015 we continued to support healthcare professionals to provide the best care to people with arthritis.
We reached over 3,500 GPs at conferences and through our core skills e-learning package. As a result, we estimate over 2.1 million musculoskeletal-related consultations for 2015 were held by a GP who had accessed our core skills programme.
Supporting you to manage your condition
We piloted an exercise intervention for people over 50 with knee and hip osteoarthritis. The intervention used innovative techniques such as comedy to:
deliver key health messages
encouraging behaviour change.
We demonstrated the benefit of Alexander technique and acupuncture for neck pain, and showed that talking therapy could be a promising treatment for chronic lower back pain.
Young people and leading healthcare professionals helped us to improve our information for young people with arthritis.
We partnered with Mind to deliver a resilience programme for people...
