Brainstem toxicity after proton or photon therapy in children and young adults with localized intracranial ependymoma: a French retrospective study
Ependymoma is the third most common brain tumor in childhood, representing 6 –12% of all pediatric brain cancers [1,2], whose two-third grow in the posterior fossa at the expense of the fourth ventricle and close to the brainstem (BS).
