To examine or not to examine, this is not the question: a diagnostic exclusion of 32-year-old virgo intacta presented with advanced non-hpv related cervical cancer and ovarian metastases

Introduction and aims of the study: A 32-year-old woman with schizophrenia and obesity presented with heavy vaginal bleeding and lower abdominal pain. She denied any sexual activity and her progressively heavy menstruations were falsely associated with lamotrigine use. Over 3 years she started having a vaginal discharge with a strong odor. Due to an intact hymen, she wasn ’t examined vaginally.
