123. Gender Identity Disparities in Early Adolescent Sleep: Findings From the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) Study
During adolescence, poor sleep has been associated with several deleterious physical and mental health outcomes, including increased risk for metabolic syndrome, poor cardiovascular health, depression, suicidal ideation, and substance use. While there is some evidence linking sexual minority status with sleep disturbances in youth, little is known about the associations between gender identity and sleep.
