Immunoglobulin A vasculitis involving the duodenum and jejunum

A 66-year-old woman with a history of hypertension and coronary atherosclerotic heart disease presented with acute onset of paroxysmal epigastric pain for 3 days. She was taking oral aspirin and felodipine. She denied a history of vomiting and diarrhea. Physical examination showed tenderness in the upper abdomen. Laboratory findings revealed mild leucocytosis. Fecal occult blood test was positive. Urine microscopy was normal. Chest computed tomography (CT) and electrocardiography showed no significant abnormalities.
