Characteristics and long-term mortality of patients with non-MAFLD hepatic steatosis
ConclusionsNon-MAFLD steatosis has comparable degrees of hepatic steatosis and fibrosis to MAFLD and increases the risk of mortality. Genetic predisposition highly contributes to the risk of non-MAFLD steatosis.
