Differential to Terminal Ileitis: Terminal Ileum Neuroendocrine Tumor Identified on Screening Colonoscopy
Conclusion: Terminal ileitis encompasses a host of pathologic processes, including inflammatory states, infectious disease, malignancy, and vasculitis. Importantly, small bowel cancer is an increasing cause of terminal ileitis.
