Frequency of allergic reactions in egg allergic patients after receiving the yellow fever vaccine
CONCLUSIONS: YFV did not trigger allergic reactions in EAP without history of egg-anaphylaxis. With further research, safe single-dose vaccination to this population could be considered; however, patients with previous egg-anaphylaxis should be evaluated by an allergist before vaccination.PMID:37422790 | DOI:10.15586/aei.v51i4.850 (Source: Allergologia et Immunopathologia)

Effects of migration rates and vaccination on the spread of yellow fever in Latin American communities
CONCLUSIONS: With vaccination being more determinant for a potential outbreak than migration rates, vaccinating migrants on arrival may be one of the most effective measures against yellow fever. Furthermore, H. janthinomys is a more competent vector than A. aegypti at similar densities, but the presence of A. aegypti is a warning to maintain vaccination above recommended levels.PMID:37266487 | PMC:PMC10231272 | DOI:10.26633/RPSP.2023.86 (Source: Pan American Journal of Public Health)

Clustering and Annotation of T Cell Receptor Repertoires
Methods Mol Biol. 2023;2673:33-51. doi: 10.1007/978-1-0716-3239-0_3.ABSTRACTImmunological protection against a wide variety of pathogens is largely mediated by the diverse and dynamic T cell receptor (TCR) repertoire, a crucial component of the adaptive immune system. An encounter with infectious agents stimulates specific T cells to initiate a direct immune response to combat intruders. Hence, the TCR repertoire may conceal crucial information regarding current and past infections and might assist in the development and monitoring of vaccines. To unlock its knowledge, we describe a computational workflow involving both su...
