An unusual Non-Trad trajectory
Hey everyone, posting for a friend.
She is in her late 40's and is a retired IT professional who has set her sights on her true passion (i.e. veterinary medicine for underserved animals).
She does not have an undergraduate degree in science from the US, so she'll be starting from scratch. She's financially secure and is not worried about the cost of going to school.

What qualifies as a science letter of rec?
Hello,
I have a question about what will be considered a science letter of rec. For example, I am taking a course called BIO 342, Plagues. However, this course is intended for nonscience majors. Would a letter of rec from this professor work?
Also, is it true if a course starts with the prefix BIO will work as a science course even though it is not something like intro to biology...
