Effects of Hyperferritinemia on Functional Outcome in Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients with Admission Hyperglycemia
Conclusions: High iron status, presented as hyperferritinemia, is associated with poor 3-month functional outcome in AIS patients with hyperglycemia. The pathogenesis of hypoxic-ischemic white matter injury (WMI) in premature infants is still unclear, and the imbalance of cerebral iron metabolism may play an important role.
