The association between cervical artery dissection and spinal manipulation among US adults
ConclusionAmong privately insured US adults, the overall risk of CeAD is very low. Prior receipt of CSM was more likely than E&M among VAD patients as compared to stroke patients. However, for CAD patients as compared to stroke patients, as well as for both VAD and CAD patients in comparison with population controls and in case-crossover analysis, prior receipt of E&M was more likely than CSM.

Internal carotid artery dissection in a patient with hemophilia A: a case report and literature review
We report the case of a man with hemophilia A who developed sCeAD and transient oculo-pyramidal syndrome and was treated with acetylsalicylic acid. We also review previous published cases of arterial dissection in patients with hemophilia, discussing the potential pathogenetic mechanism underlying this rare association and potential antithrombotic therapeutic options.

Ultrasound Criteria for Diagnosing Spontaneous Cervical Artery Dissections
This article describes the diagnostic criteria and typical findings of spontaneous dissection, in which no dissecting membrane is to be expected as in aortic dissection. Traumatic dissections following blunt or penetrating injuries also present with different findings. Examiners should be aware of possible differential diagnoses whose ultrasound image may mimic a dissection. A frequently occurring but avoidable cause of misdiagnosis is idiopathic carotidynia. Role of mini access during carotid endarterectomy: a prospective observational study
CONCLUSIONS: According to these results the mini skin incision allows a sufficient vessels exposure for dissection, endarterectomy, reconstruction of carotid artery and shunt positioning, minimizing surgical invasiveness, decreasing the incidence of temporary cervical nerve dysfunction and improving the aesthetic result with significative less pain suffered by the patients.
