Characteristics of stroke after liver and kidney transplantation
ConclusionsIn-hospital, perioperative, and hemorrhagic strokes were more common in the LT group than in the KT group. Ischemic stroke subtypes did not differ significantly between the two groups and undetermined etiology was the most common cause of ischemic stroke in both groups. High mortality after stroke was noted in transplantation patients and was associated with in-hospital stroke.

Incidence of Statin-Associated Adverse Events in Kidney Transplant Recipients

Effective chemotherapy and targeted therapy supplemented with stereotactic radiotherapy of a patient with metastatic colon cancer following renal transplantation: a case report
ConclusionsSince information is scarce regarding oncological treatment of patients following organ transplantation, data about their oncological treatment is essential. Intracranial Hemorrhage Diagnosed with Transcranial Ultrasound in a Comatose, Postliver Transplant Patient
We report a case of an intracranial hemorrhage first suspected during a trans-cranial Doppler assessment of a postorthotopic liver transplant patient. The patient was at considerable risk of bleeding, due to a primary graft nonfunction, but he had also elevated ammonium levels, justifying the comatose state, and no focal neurological deficits.
