PICA injury secondary to anterior odontoid screw fixation: Case report of an exceptional complication
CONCLUSION: To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case report of iatrogenic PICA injury in anterior odontoid screw fixation. The patient was well managed in our institution within a multidisciplinary team. Effective chemotherapy and targeted therapy supplemented with stereotactic radiotherapy of a patient with metastatic colon cancer following renal transplantation: a case report
ConclusionsSince information is scarce regarding oncological treatment of patients following organ transplantation, data about their oncological treatment is essential. To our knowledge, this is the first case report to describe the successful chemotherapy and targeted therapy supplemented with stereotactic radiotherapy of a posttransplant patient with metastatic colorectal cancer.

Anticoagulant-related intracranial haemorrhage: time to anticoagulant reversal improving but still slower than thrombolysis for ischaemic stroke.
CONCLUSION: Door-to-any-reversal-agent and scan-to-PCC times have improved over time, but they remain significantly longer than IS thrombolysis times. Monitoring of reversal is inadequate, particularly for WRICH receiving PCC.

Early apixaban therapy after ischemic stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation
ConclusionsSymptomatic HT rates are likely to be low in randomized trials of DOAC initiation post-stroke. Recurrent ischemic stroke may be the major clinical outcome. These data may be used as expected event rates when calculating sample size requirements for future safety/efficacy trials of early versus late DOAC initiation after AF-related stroke.

Is This Contrast? Is This Blood? An Agreement Study on Post-thrombectomy Computed Tomography Scans
Conclusion: Physician judgment for the presence of blood and/or contrast on day-1 post-thrombectomy non-contrast CT scan shows limited inter-observer reliability. Advanced imaging modalities may then be warranted for challenging clinical cases.

Hemichorea in ketotic hyperglycemia with hyperdense striatum mimicking hemorrhagic transformation in a patient using apixaban.
CONCLUSION: Diabetic striatopathy is a rare but treatable disorder and should be considered in patients with poorly controlled diabetes who present with hemichorea.

High Prevalence of Deep Venous Thrombosis in Non-Severe COVID-19 Patients Hospitalized for a Neurovascular Disease
Conclusion: Despite thromboprophylaxis, systematic bedside DUS showed a high prevalence (38.5%) of asymptomatic DVT in non-severe COVID-19 patients suffering from a neurovascular disease.
