Case Report: Interindividual variability and possible role of heterozygous variants in a family with deficiency of adenosine deaminase 2: are all heterozygous born equals?
In conclusion, this familiar case demonstrated the wide range of phenotypic variability in DADA2. The search for ADA2 mutations and the assessment of ADA2 activity should be considered also in patients with the association of hypogammaglobulinemia and inflammatory conditions, also with late presentation and in absence of vasculitis. Furthermore, the clinical picture of the deceased carrier suggests a possible contribution of heterozygous pathogenic variants to inflammation.

Predicted cardiac and second cancer risks for patients undergoing VMAT for mediastinal Hodgkin lymphoma
ConclusionFor patients with mediastinal lymphoma excess mortality risks from CVD and second cancers remain clinically significant despite contemporary chemotherapy and photon-RT. Efforts to reduce the toxicity of combined modality treatment, for example, using DIBH, reduced margins and advanced RT, e.g. proton beam therapy, should be continued to further reduce potentially fatal treatment effects.

Arterial and Venous Thromboembolism in ALK-Rearrangement-Positive Non-small Cell Lung Cancer: A Population-Based Cohort Study

The Weakened Interaction Between HECTD4 and GluN2B in Ischemic Stroke Promotes Calcium Overload and Brain Injury Through a Mechanism Involving the Decrease of GluN2B and MALT1 Ubiquitination
This study explores the relationship between HECTD4, GluN2B, and MALT1, focusing on their role in brain injury in ischemic stroke. Rats were subjected to 2  h-ischemia followed by 24-h reperfusion to establish an ischemic stroke model. We observed the downregulation of HECTD4 and the upregulation of MALT1. In this study, adult C57BL/6 mice after permanent middle cerebral artery occlusion (pMCAO) were assigned to the EE and standard housing (SH) groups 3 days after operation.
