Prevalence and Risk Factors of Caregiver Dependence among Older Adults in a Southeast Asian Population.
CONCLUSION: Various sociodemographic and health-related conditions were significantly associated with caregiver dependence. Dependent older adults will put greater demands on health and social services, resulting in greater healthcare expenditures. Hence, effective planning, services and support are crucial to meet the needs of dependent older adults and their caregivers.

Cough response to aspiration in thin and thick fluids during FEES in hospitalized inpatients.
CONCLUSIONS & IMPLICATIONS: Cough response to aspiration differs across bolus volumes and viscosities. The finding of inconsistent cough response to aspiration in some patients strongly encourages the use of instrumental assessment to guide decisions regarding diet modifications.

Development of a new screening instrument for screening of dysphagia in geriatric patients: the dysphagia screening tool geriatrics.
CONCLUSION: The new screening tool is especially aimed at geriatric patients. It has advantages compared to previously recommended screening tests. Initial experiences with the instrument show good practicability and acceptance in geriatric teams. Further studies have to test the validity of the instrument.

Studying the Clinical Data of COVID Positive patients admitted to a tertiary care academic hospital
Conclusion: The most common presenting symptoms included fever, cough, and shortness of breath. Patients who required ICU admission at presentation had a worse prognosis. Those with greater severity of symptoms were mainly elderly patients among which the most common comorbidity was hypertention followed by cardiac disease.
