The effect of upper-extremity aerobic exercise on complex regional pain syndrome type I: a randomized controlled study on subacute stroke.

The role of biopsychosocial factors in the rehabilitation process of individuals with a stroke.
CONCLUSIONS:Comprehensive neurological rehabilitation, taking into account mental challenges and socio-economic circumstances of individuals with a stroke is essential in order to achieve high efficacy of physiotherapy. Important external factors may play a pivotal role in returning to work as well and should be taken into account during rehabilitation. Of interest should be to assess more biopsychological factors, such as acceptance of illness and a sense of self-efficacy referred to as barriers to return to work. Constraint-induced movement therapy for upper extremities in people with stroke.
CONCLUSIONS: CIMT is a multi-faceted intervention where restriction of the less affected limb is accompanied by increased exercise tailored to the person's capacity. We found that CIMT was associated with limited improvements in motor impairment and motor function, but that these benefits did not convincingly reduce disability. Female caregivers and stroke severity determines caregiver stress in stroke patients
Conclusion: Our study showed that caregiving burden was predominantly shouldered by females CGs. CGs faced physical, psychological, and socioeconomic burden. The burden was more evident in female CGs and in patients with severe stroke.

Dry needling for the management of spasticity, pain, and range of movement in adults after stroke: A systematic review.
CONCLUSION: The management of adults after stroke with DN may impact positively on spasticity, pain, and ROM. Effect of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) delivered via dorsolateral prefrontal cortex on central post-stroke pain and depression: a case report
