Associations of erythrocyte polyunsaturated fatty acids with incidence of stroke and stroke types in adult Chinese: a prospective study of over 8000 individuals
ConclusionAmong relatively lean Chinese adults, erythrocyte PUFAs 18:2n –6, 20:3n–6 and 20:5n–3 showed different associations with risks of IS and ICH. These results would improve the understanding of stroke etiology.

IJERPH, Vol. 19, Pages 4807: Stroke Risk Factors of Stroke Patients in China: A Nationwide Community-Based Cross-Sectional Study
Conclusions: The most common risk factors for community stroke patients in China are hypertension, dyslipidemia, and overweight or obesity. The stroke community patients’ suboptimal awareness and treatment of hypertension, and suboptimal awareness, treatment, and control of diabetes, and dyslipidemia are significant problems in China.

Association between dietary patterns and stroke in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in China: a propensity score-matched analysis
CONCLUSION: This study provides sufficient evidence to support the dietary intervention strategies to prevent stroke effectively. Identification of Risk Factors for Stroke in China: A Meta-Analysis of Prospective Cohort Studies
This study aimed to identify independent risk factors for first occurrence of stroke in Chinese individuals based on prospective cohort studies. Forty prospective cohort studies assessing 1,984,552 individuals were selected for the final meta-analysis. Burden of cardiovascular disease from 1990 to 2017 in Henan Province, China
CONCLUSIONS: The absolute burden of CVDs in Henan is still high, although age-standardized DALYs declined between 1990 and 2017.
