Preliminary screening for sarcopenia and related risk factors among the elderly
This study included 200 participants aged 65 or over living in Taiwan, but excluded the following:
1.people with neuromuscular diseases affecting limb function and balance (such as stroke, Parkinson disease, spinal stenosis, and peripheral nerve compression);2.people with fractures in the lower extremities or with arthritis, which could affect mobility;3.people with pacemakers or other medical implant devices; and4.people who declined to participate in the research and people who could not complete all aspects of the research.

The diagnostic reliability and validity of noninvasive imaging modalities to assess leptomeningeal collateral flow for ischemic stroke patients: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Leptomeningeal collateral flow (LMF) is associated with infarct area and clinical outcome for ischemic stroke patients. Although LMF can be detected by multiple imaging methods, but their diagnostic performance is uncertain.

Perfusion image guided mechanical thrombectomy combined with tirofiban successfully revascularize systemic lupus erythematosus related acute large vessel occlusion: A case report
Rationale:
Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is an important cause of stroke, more than a half the cases present as acute ischemic stroke. Thrombolysis is an effective choice in most cases, but for large vessel occlusion, mechanical thrombectomy is more effective. Here we reported a case of SLE-related stroke with left middle cerebral artery (MCA) occlusion, who was successfully treated by MT and tirofiban.

Non-pharmacological intervention for rehabilitation of post-stroke spasticity: A protocol for systematic review and network meta-analysis
Conclusion:
The results of this study will provide evidence to judge whether non-pharmacological interventions are effective interventions for patients with post-stroke spasticity.
Ethics and dissemination:
The results of this meta-analysis and meta-regression will be disseminated through publication in a peer-reviewed journal and presented at a relevant conference. The data used in the network meta-analysis did not contain individual patient data. Therefore, ethical approval was not required.

Effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of senile hypotension: A protocol for systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions:
The conclusions of our study will provide an evidence to judge whether TCM is an effective and safe intervention for patients with senile hypotension.

Determinants of life satisfaction among stroke survivors 1 year post stroke

Dual therapy with an oral non-vitamin K antagonist and a P2Y12 inhibitor vs triple therapy with aspirin, a P2Y12 inhibitor and a vitamin K antagonist for the treatment of diabetes mellitus patients with co-existing atrial fibrillation following percutaneous coronary intervention: A meta-analysis
Conclusions:
DT with a NOAC and a P2Y12 inhibitor was associated with significantly less bleeding events without increasing the adverse cardiovascular outcomes when compared to TT with aspirin, a P2Y12 inhibitor and a Vitamin K antagonist for the treatment of DM patients with co-existing AF following PCI. Hence, DT is comparable in efficacy, but safer compared to TT. This interesting hypothesis will have to be confirmed in future studies.

Wrist-hand extension function recovery in spastic hemiplegia patient by botulinum toxin injection plus surface electromyography biofeedback therapy: A case report
We reported a 46-year-old male suffered a spastic hemiplegia with wrist- hand extension deficit.
Diagnoses:
Computed tomography showed cerebral hemorrhage in the left basal ganglia region.
Interventions:
Four hundred units of BoNTA were injected into the spasticity flexors, and four-week post injection surface electromyography (sEMG) biofeedback therapy was applied to the patient.

Changes in the prefronto-thalamic tract following cranioplasty: Case reports
We report on three women with hemorrhagic stroke who showed changes in the PTT following cranioplasty (C/P) using diffusion tensor tractography (DTT) images.
Patient concerns:
