Lifestyle Assessment in Young Adults with Ischemic Stroke: One Cross-Sectional Study in Iran
Conclusion: According to the association between inappropriate lifestyle and ischemic stroke in young adults, it is recommended to set preventive medicine and health promotion units with insurance coverage in all clinics for risk assessment of stroke in healthy general population specialty young adults.

Prevalence and factors connected with chronic diseases in the elderly residents of Birjand: a community – based study in Birjand, South Khorasan Province, Iran
ConclusionThe findings demonstrated that hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and stroke are the three prevalent NCDs among elders in the area and warrant a specific focus on reducing the burden of diseases and aligning healthcare services to prepare the whole needs of this population.

A Randomized Controlled Study Assessing the Effects of a Shoe Lift Under the Nonparetic Leg on Balance Performance in Individuals With Chronic Stroke
Conclusion: The results indicated that the use of a shoe lift under the nonaffected leg in the context of a balance training program could result in a greater improvement in static standing balance as compared with balance training alone in an individual with chronic stroke. Trial Registration: The study was retrospectively registered in the Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials (IRCT20190603043808N1).
