Noninvasive In Vivo Thrombus Imaging in Patients With Ischemic Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack
CONCLUSIONS: 18F-GP1 positron emission tomography and computed tomography angiography is a novel noninvasive method of identifying in vivo cerebrovascular thrombosis, which holds major promise in understanding the role and origin of thrombosis in stroke.REGISTRATION: URL: https://www.CLINICALTRIALS: gov; Unique identifier: NCT03943966.PMID:37439259 | DOI:10.1161/ATVBAHA.122.318204

Independent Causal Effect of Remnant Cholesterol on Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Outcomes: A Mendelian Randomization Study
CONCLUSIONS: This large-scale Mendelian randomization study showed a robust genetic causal association between RC and cardiovascular outcomes. The effect on CAD and MI is independent of LDL cholesterol. Early screening for RC along with long-term inhibition of RC should be the focus of future therapeutic interventions.PMID:37439258 | DOI:10.1161/ATVBAHA.123.319297

MAGT1 Deficiency Dysregulates Platelet Cation Homeostasis and Accelerates Arterial Thrombosis and Ischemic Stroke in Mice
CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest that MAGT1 and TRPC6 are functionally linked. Therefore, deficiency or impaired functionality of MAGT1 could be a potential risk factor for arterial thrombosis and stroke.PMID:37381987 | DOI:10.1161/ATVBAHA.122.318115
