Deficiency of Adenosine Deaminase 2
Deficiency of adenosine deaminase 2 (DADA2) is a monogenic vasculitis syndrome caused by biallelic mutations in the adenosine deaminase 2 gene. The diagnosis of DADA2 is confirmed by decreased enzymatic activity of ADA2 and genetic testing. Symptoms range from cutaneous vasculitis and polyarteritis nodosa-like lesions to stroke. The vasculopathy of DADA2 can affect many organ systems, including the gastrointestinal and renal systems. This study aims to determine the number and type of incidental findings detected on positron emission tomography (PET)/CT in a cohort of patients with large vessel vasculitis (LVV). Reports from PET/CT studies along with the medical charts of a cohort of patients with LVV from a Rheumatology clinic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, were retrospectively reviewed. Lyme neuroborreliosis: Progressive cerebral vasculitis responsive to cyclophosphamide. A case report and review of the literature
Less than 1 % of patients with Lyme Neuroborreliosis (LNB) present with a cerebrovascular event. Ischaemic strokes occur more commonly than parenchymal or subarachnoid haemorrhages. If cerebral vasculitis due to LNB is suspected, antibiotic treatment should be started immediately, which will normally lead to remission. Very rarely progression and recurrent strokes are observed despite sufficient antibiotic therapy, even if steroids are added. Brainstem Infarction in Immunodeficiency Identified as Adenosine Deaminase 2 Deficiency: Case Report
ConclusionWe present the case of a young adult with diagnosis of DADA2 as a cause for recurrent strokes due to vasculitis. This stroke etiology is rare but should be considered as a cause of recurrent stroke of unknown origin in young patients to avoid a disabling disease course by disease-specific treatment options.

Fulminant Extra- And Intracranial Arteriovenous Thrombosis And Non-aneurysmal Subarachnoid Hemorrhage Following COVID-19 Infection
CONCLUSION: A high degree of suspicion for COVID-19 induced coagulopathy leading to extensive non- aneurysmal, non-hemispheric SAH and malignant intracranial hypertension should be entertained.
