ConclusionsIncreased seizure burden and increased interhemispheric differences in both quantitative electroencephalographic amplitude and TCD MCA TIBI scores are independently associated with acute brain injury in children undergoing ECMO support.

O-007 Bridging thrombolysis yields diminished benefit among elderly stroke patients treated with endovascular thrombectomy
ConclusionsBridging thrombolysis may be associated with better outcomes in a real-world setting; however, this association is diminished among elderly patients due to higher rates of hemorrhagic complications. Microwave-induced thermoacoustic imaging for the early detection of canine intracerebral hemorrhage
Conclusion: This is the first experimental study to explore the use of TAI in the detection of intracerebral hemorrhage in large live animals (canine). The results indicated that TAI could detect canine intracerebral hemorrhage in the early stage and has the potential to be a rapid and noninvasive method for the detection of intracerebral hemorrhage in humans.

Exploratory study to assess feasibility of intracerebral hemorrhage detection by point of care cranial ultrasound
ConclusionsOur exploratory analysis yielded preliminary data on use of point of care cranial ultrasound for ICH diagnosis to inform imaging techniques, cranial topography on B mode and sample size estimation for future studies to evaluate sensitivity and specificity of cranial POCUS in adult patients. This pilot study is limited by small sample size and over representation of ICH in the study. Cranial POCUS is feasible using POCUS machines and may have potential as a screening tool if validated in adequately powered studies.
